Turkey Roasting

  • Preheat the oven to 350 

  • In a small sauce pan, melt butter

  • Take the giblets out of the Turkey and wash the Turkey inside and out, removing any fat and leftover pin feathers. 

  • Place the Turkey in a large roasting pan

  • Brush the Turkey with the butter and sprinkle salt and pepper

  • Tie the legs together with the string and tuck the wing tips under the body of the Turkey

  • Roast the Turkey about 2-3 hours, make sure the temperature reaches 165 degrees F 

  • Once cooked to 165 Degrees F, take Turkey out and let it rest.
